AP Spring Celebration

Welcome in the spring with indoor and outdoor activities at one of our premier locations.  Admission is free for adults; activity wristbands are required for youth ages 5-17.  Climbing tower tickets available for adults.  Youth activity booths, including Mothers’ Day gift-making.  Climbing towards, tye-dye, greenhouse planting and more for kids!  Artisan market, food trucks, and more!  No advanced registration required.

Family Fishing Weekend

May 2-4, 2025 | Twin Lake, Michigan

Join the GSR fishing staff and expert guests for a fun family weekend of fishing. Your whole family will get hands-on tips and skills practice while fishing from our fishing docks. Youth will also have the opportunity to try fly casting and fly tying. Campsites, meals, and campfires to cook your fish are provided by the staff at GSR.

Anglers’ Base Camp

Anglers’ Basecamp is an adult program of MITTEN Outdoors Adventures & Events, brought to you in collaboration with the fly fishing community. The camp provides an opportunity for fly fishing clubs and individual anglers to experience some of the best fly fishing in the world at a very affordable price.

Furthermore, there is a charitable purpose to the camp. The proceeds from Anglers’ Basecamp support the Michigan Crossroads Council, Scouting America in pursuit of their mission; to develop character, integrity and leadership in today’s youth through quality programs, outdoor experiences, and service to the community.

Camp Rotary Centennial Celebration

Crank 4 A Cause – Spring R & R

Join us at the D-Bar-A Scout Ranch in Metamora, MI for the 4th annual Spring RR Race fundraising event which includes gravel bike racing, a 5k or 10k Run, beer tent, food vendors and more.

Accommodations and activities (horse and target sports) available at our Metamora facility from Thursday, May 29 – Sunday, June 1. Participants and spectators/families are all welcome.

Ranch Hand Camp – Session #5

Spend a week learning what it takes to work at a Ranch!  Also referred to as our Wrangler in Training program, this allows Scouts the opportunity to spend a week learning what it takes to work at The Ranch! Help the D-Bar-A Ranch Staff care for our herd of horses, long horn cattle, and burros in this once in a lifetime adventure! You will learn to bend & weld metal, work on farm machinery, learn horse care, and do repairs around The Ranch!

Youth 13-17.  Register soon – limit of 10 total in this session.
